Bringing a New Identity to Life

Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026 wasn't simply another exhibition for Jamco.

It marked the global launch of Jamco Interiors.

Following significant acquisitions, new leadership and a complete repositioning of the business, AIX was chosen as the moment to introduce the new brand to the world's airline interiors community.

This wasn't simply about unveiling a new logo.

It was about communicating a new direction, showcasing an expanded product portfolio and demonstrating that Jamco had entered an exciting new chapter.

Oaken was trusted to transform that ambition into an exhibition experience worthy of the occasion.

Designing for a Defining Moment

What began as an evolution of Jamco's previous exhibition presence quickly became something much bigger.

As the company's transformation gathered pace, the brief evolved almost weekly. New branding, new products and new messaging meant the exhibition had to develop alongside the business itself.

Working closely with teams across Japan and the United States, Oaken became an extension of the Jamco team, adapting the design over four months while ensuring every decision supported the new brand identity.

The result was an environment that felt calm, confident and deliberately understated. Rather than competing for attention, the architecture created space for the products to become the hero, while natural materials, carefully integrated lighting and clean architectural forms reflected the craftsmanship and quality synonymous with the Jamco name.

Confidence with Elegance

Every element of the stand was designed to reinforce the positioning of the new Jamco Interiors brand.

A six-metre illuminated logo became the defining architectural feature, announcing the new identity across the exhibition hall.

Open hospitality areas encouraged conversation without creating barriers. Private meeting rooms provided a comfortable environment for customer discussions.

Carefully curated product displays showcased seating, cabin systems and galley solutions within a setting that felt more like a premium interior showroom than a temporary exhibition stand.

From the warm timber detailing and textured finishes to the subtle lighting and olive trees, every detail contributed to an atmosphere of quiet confidence.

Partnership Beyond Design

Having supported Jamco across multiple Aircraft Interiors exhibitions over many years, Oaken understood both the heritage of the business and the significance of this new chapter.

As the launch approached, our role extended far beyond design and build. Managing evolving briefs, coordinating international stakeholders and resolving on-site challenges ensured the unveiling happened exactly as planned.

One moment stood out above all others.

Before the exhibition opened, the client wanted to be standing on the stand as the six-metre Jamco Interiors logo was revealed for the very first time. Seeing the new identity take its place above the exhibition floor was, in his words, one of the proudest moments of the company's transformation.

Those are the moments we design for.

The Outcome

Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026 successfully introduced Jamco Interiors to the global aviation market. The stand became a physical expression of the company's new identity: refined, confident and unmistakably premium.

More importantly, it gave Jamco's leadership team the platform they needed to launch the next chapter of their business with confidence.
